This policy explains what personal data Bug by Design collects, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, and your chosen track. If you log in with Google, GitHub or LinkedIn, we receive your name and email from them.
- Learning data: lessons completed, weekly goals, challenge entries and 1:1 bookings.
- Payment records: plan, amount and Razorpay payment IDs. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
- Video viewing data: Mux records playback quality and which lessons were watched, linked to your account ID.
Why we use it
- To run your account, unlock what you paid for, and track your progress.
- To send receipts, booking confirmations and important account emails.
- To improve our courses.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the site: Supabase (accounts and database), Razorpay (payments), Mux (video) and Cloudflare (hosting). We don't sell your data.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your data, or for a copy of it, by emailing hello@bugbydesign.dev. We'll reply within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, each member can only access their own records, and payments run through Razorpay's secure checkout.
